Fraternal Visit by Adair Club to St Kew

St Kew lodge welcomed a new brother on the 6th June. Brother Radcliffe was initiated into St Kew Lodge of Weston-Super-Mare in front of over 60 brethren.

The Adair club (somerset light blues club) were led by the chairman Mike Norton and assembled over 15 Adair members to support St Kew and welcome brother Radcliffe who was soon brought into the fold of becoming a member of the Adair club. The brethren from the Adair club in attendance were the first to be given the new Adair pin badges, including one of the Adair founding members W.Bro Harry Blinston.

Members from the Dunkerkey club (Bristol light blues club) also paid a visit to St Kew and it was great to meet up with another light blue club and share experiences and stories.

The Worshipful Master and Officers of St Kew really put on a show for brother Radcliffe and made it an evening he will not forget, The D.C and Deacons led the candidate around the lodge with precision and you could certainly see how practice makes perfect in regards to the great lodge of instruction schedule St Kew have.

The festive board was alive with brotherly spirit and we were treated to a cold meat salad which was very welcome on what was a very hot summers evening. In the traditional St Kew spirit the singing voices of the St Kew brethren to the initiate followed by the visitors song soon echoed around the lodge.

A great evening was had by all and we strongly recommend paying St Kew a visit.
