Flood Relief Support to Queen Camel

Following the flash floods in Queen Camel back in May 2023, the Brethren of Brotherly Love agreed to donate £2,000 to the Flood Relief Fund. The donation was presented to Mrs Morwenna Ford, the coordinator for the fund, at the monthly Village Cafe Morning on 8th of August, 2023 by the Lodge Master Graham Beckinsale.
The actual flash flood, whilst short lived, was the highest in living memory and several homes are still drying out with work to be done before they are habitable again. Residents are in the meantime are living with relatives or in caravans.
