John de Clivedon Lodge help for the Parachute Regiment Association

On Sunday 16th January at the Nailsea Masonic Centre, Olympian Lodge members accompanied by their wives/partners and their guests, gathered to enjoy a traditional Burns Luncheon.  W.Bro. Sandy Kemlo gave the traditional address to the haggis followed by the bagpipe playing of many well know songs.

The Olympian Lodge Worshipful Master Andrew Broad a Parachute Regiment veteran, invited as one of his guests Archie Statham, a former colleague and the Chairman of the North East Somerset Branch of the Parachute Regiment Association.

Andrew is also a member of the John de Clivedon Lodge, who had recently agreed to make a £1,000 Charity donation to the Parachute Regiment Association, who’s aim is to ‘provide welfare, support and advice to its members and/or their dependants who are in need, hardship or distress’. This event was an ideal opportunity to present that cheque.
