Christmas Meals Appeal 2021

Christmas 2020 was a particularly difficult time for many families including residents of Nailsea, North Somerset.   Estune Lodge 6817 responded at the time working with the Nailsea Community Support Group by arranging for 100 Christmas meals to be provided for some of those less fortunate, a gesture that was well received.  The members of Estune Lodge therefore decided to take up the challenge again in 2021 setting a target to raise £1000.  Due to the generosity of the brethren, support from the province and a generous donation from a local business more than £2000 has been raised. This has enabled 115 Christmas meals to be provided and will allow for further support to the Nailsea Community Support Group with fresh fruit and vegetables in the coming months.

In the pictures below you can see Sam Johnson who provides all the catering at the Nailsea Masonic Hall, Sam provided the meals with one of the Catering team members.

Also pictured below is Worshipful Master Martin Hockley and Brother Graham Edwards delivering the meals.

The meals were gratefully received by Jules Richardson and Shelley Forbes at Nailsea Community Support Group premises ready for final distribution.
