St Alphege Lodge – Centenary Master
It only took 13 months, 2 dispensations and 6 people, but David Hogg finally made it into the Chair!
Having experienced the full-works nearly twenty years ago, he enjoyed the contrast of an intimate and different ceremony, following the current COVID guidelines.
Afterwards the gang of six dined in style at the Bath and County Club and reminisced about the good times they have enjoyed together over the years.
St Alphege Lodge was consecrated on Monday 6th September 1920 and their Centenary celebrations have been on hold during lockdown and masonic suspension; however, the programme of events has been reactivated, albeit one year late, and on Monday 6th September 2021 they will hold their official Centenary Meeting to formally receive the Centenary Warrant from the PGM, who will be at his Mother Lodge in that capacity.
