Russ runs Half Marathon for MNDA Charity

On Sunday 15th May W. Bro Russ Woodland of Royal Naval Lodge No 2761 successfully completed the Tewkesbury half-marathon raising £2800 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Russ was keen to raise money for the MNDA as a member of his mother Chapter, Britannic No 33, is suffering from Motor Neurone Disease and has received much help and support from this charity. Russ said: “diagnosis of this horrible disease is still terminal, the only variables being how long, and which parts of your body you lose control of first. I’ve seen the wonderful support the MNDA provides sufferers, and their families, and really wanted to do something to help them. I would like to give a huge thank you to all the brethren who have sponsored me; you’ve been fantastic!”.
