I planned the garden with different evergreens so the garden, in general, looks the same all year round. Movement was introduced by a water feature, a flag and grasses which move in the slightest breeze. Shrubs flowering at different times of the year give colour, I do not have many perennials and annuals only in pots and urns. Hot weather playing havoc with the lawn but that will recover!
