The garden at Lime Kiln is a typical farmhouse garden providing the House and extended family with vegetables, fruit, flowers, honey and eggs.
The lawn is used for recreational health & outdoor eating when the weather allows.
A variety of foodstuff grown include Brassica, Root crops, Asapargus, Rhubarb, Gooseberry, Loganberry, Blackcurrant, Raspberry, Apple, Fig & Pear, Potatoes & Beans needing more space, are grown on an adjacent plot.
All cultivation is worked by Bro. Peter Tinney & Margaret Tinney.
Three hives of Honey Bees provide an extra luxury so minimal Pest control is strictly adhered to. Recycled vegetables feed hens giving eggs for baking.
We are fortunate to be able to enjoy our lovely garden.
