Square Meals from Bath Freemasons

Responding to an urgent appeal to help provide food for the vulnerable and needy in the Bath Area, the Trust Directors immediately agreed to reopen the Bath Masonic Hall kitchen and support the caterer in producing wholesome, pre-cooked frozen food for delivery by Social Care staff through the B&NES Food Parcel distribution channel.

With a start-up fund of £7,500 a request was sent out to all the Lodges based in Bath and from their generosity and MCF match-funding, the total reached nearly £25,000 – sufficient to provide over 5700 two-course meals by the end of June, at no charge to the consumer.
