W Bro David Medlock to take over as Provincial Grand Master

Provincial Grand Lodge of Somerset – new PGM appointed

The Most Worshipful Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, has been pleased to appoint W Bro David John Medlock DL PSGD, Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master as the successor to RW Bro CA Stuart Hadler who will retire from office on 3rd April 2019

W Bro David is a Past Master of St Alphege Lodge No 4095, served as the Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2001-2 and with distinction as Assistant Provincial Grand Master from 2006 until 2011.

He has been Chairman of the 2020 Festival since 2011. From both public and masonic life, W Bro David brings a wide range of experience, and expertise to his new role as the leader of the Craft in the Province of Somerset.

W Bro David will be installed at the Annual Meeting of Somerset Provincial Grand Lodge on Thursday 4th April 2019 at the Webbington Hotel, Loxton, Nr Axbridge.
