A Century for Admiral Blake Lodge
The 28th of April 2025 saw the 100th birthday of the Admiral Blake Lodge. The Lodge
therefore held their centenary meeting just a week after the Installation meeting. This
was partly due to the original Consecration date of the Lodge being slightly delayed from the
Lodge’s current regular meeting date, but also so that we could properly celebrate the two
momentous events separately.
We were honoured as part of the celebrations to receive the Provincial Team, including the
Provincial Grand Master who took control of the Lodge for the evening to conduct the
celebration and the receipt of the Lodge’s centenary warrant. The Lodge was also interested
to hear a brief history of the Lodge and Robert Blake who the Lodge is named after, which
was presented by three of the junior brethren of the Lodge.
On behalf of the Admiral Blake Lodge, we would like to thank everyone who joined us to
celebrate the event, particularly the Provincial team, and we look forward to many more
happy years in Bridgwater.
