Exmoor Lodge Supporting The Local Community

Exmoor Lodge, Minehead were recently pleased to support local good causes with two donations. Firstly, West Somerset Citizens Advice received a £1,000 donation and the manager, Ian Atkinson, came to address the Masons in the Lodge – giving a very informative and enlightening talk on the role the Citizens Advice plays in assisting local people in so many ways. The excellent work they offer is all funded locally, therefore the Masons felt it was a pleasure to be able to assist in some small way.

Secondly the Lodge donated £500 to help maintain the AED defibrillator situated outside the Minehead Masonic Hall in Bancks Street. The Masons purchased the defibrillator the year earlier and were very pleased to know that the unit had been called upon 31 times in the last year for public use.
