Admiral Blake Lodge Donation to Middlezoy Rovers U13 Football Team

Admiral Blake Lodge recently donated to the Middlezoy Rovers U13 football team of £200,
which was matched by many of the other Lodges which meet at the Bridgwater Masonic Hall
making total support from the Lodge of £900. This support was prompted by Brother Matt
Bell who is a member of the Admiral Blake Lodge, and a team coach for the football club.
The donations made were to support the team with a new team kit for them to play their
games in. The new kit design includes a section on the front which shows that the team were
“Supported by Somerset Freemasons”.

The team attended the Bridgwater Masonic Lodges Charity Day on the 8 th of November to
visit the hall after their game that morning for a quick tour. Proceeds from the raffle held at
the Charity Day brought up the total donations to the team by a further £120. The team
enjoyed their visit greatly, and were happy to show off their new kit to some of the members.
