Nicholas takes the chair at Athelstan

A busy night in Weston super Mare, saw Nicholas Sheldon installed as the new Master in fine form by Danny Bomford-Glaysher, as well as a ballot for two new joiners, the presentation of a Grand Lodge Certificate and a PGM’s Working Tools Award.

The evening started well with Danny opening the Lodge and welcoming Bro Martin Slocombe PAPrGM as the presiding officer accompanied by Nathan Henderson the PrDGDC.

Once in the Chair Nick invested his officers with integrity and humour, smiling all the way through. Martin Slocombe then gave the address to the Master in his usual superb manner.

After the Installation Martin was made to work for his supper, presenting the Lodge MentorsRoyal Arch rep and Comms Officer as well as presenting a Grand Lodge Certificate to Jai Bratton.

The final part of the meeting saw Chris Cook representing the Adair club award the PGM’s working Tools Challenge to Bro Craig Hamilton for delivering the working tools in each of the three degrees
