Nyanza Lodge Donate to Children’s Hospice South West
Members of Nyanza Lodge who meet in Ilminster have proudly donated £500 to Children’s Hospice South West, supporting the charity’s invaluable work with children who have life-limiting conditions and their families. The donation is part of the Lodge’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and community initiatives. Children’s Hospice South West provides vital care, respite, and support to children and their families across the region, helping them make the most of every precious moment.
Nyanza’s Charity Steward Martin Lock said “We are delighted to contribute to such a meaningful cause. The hospice offers incredible support to families during unimaginably difficult times, and we hope our donation will help continue that essential work.”
The Lodge regularly raises funds through members’ contributions and charity events, with strong emphasis on giving back to the local community whenever possible. This donation reflects the Masonic values of compassion, relief, and brotherly support.

Nyanza Lodge members: Chris Morton, Martin Lock, Pete Amos & Buddy Love present the cheque to Lucie Perryman (Area Fundraiser, Children’s Hospice South West).
