Rural Philanthropic welcome Max and a great many visitors.
It was another bumper evening in Burmham on Sea, as RPL initiated their newest member, Max Feeney, they welcomed members of the Admiral Blake Lodge on their regular fraternal visit, as well as members form the Lodge of Agriculture.
With over 55 Brethren (including three Grand Officers) sat to witness a near flawless Initiation and 5 staying for dinner, it was a great way to finish the season before the summer break.

As usual at Burnham there was good humour and camaraderie with Max being an excellent candidate, introduced to the Lodge from the Provincial Digital Marketing Campaign.
The evening was made even more special when the Lodge Charity Steward (John Chinn) gave his report, saying the Lodge had received a donation of £1,000 by a local couple, who wished to remain anonymous, but really appreciated everything the Freemasons do for the local community in Burnham on Sea. They wanted the money to be used for the benefit of everyone, so John has said the money will be used to provide the Floral displays along the High Street in Burnham for the next two years. The Lodge has provided these displays for several years, using money donated by its members, however this year they can use that money for other local causes, like the food bank, who have already received over £5,000 from Burnham Freemasons.
Quite simply Community Engagement works!
The night was finished off with a cold cuts Festive Board provided by the ever hard working John Chinn and the obligatory laughter expected at RPL.
