Admiral Blake Supports Bridgwater Sea Cadets

Brethren from the Admiral Blake Lodge 4692 recently gave a donation of £1,500 to the Bridgwater Sea Cadets unit (TS Blake). Bridgwater Sea Cadets were the charity that our Past Master, Andrew Wood, wanted to support during his year as Master of the Admiral Blake Lodge. He was both a cadet and an adult instructor with the Bridgwater Sea Cadets, which is why he chose to support them as his charity.
Several members of the lodge attended a brief presentation at TS Blake to hand over a cheque on behalf of the Lodge to the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant T J Date. The hard-working officers of TS Blake do a lot for local children who attend as cadets, and the Brethren have no doubt that they will put the donation to good use in due course.
