Its another “Twofer” at RPL 291

The first meeting for the class of 2025 was a double Initiation at the Rural Philanthropic Lodge in Burnham on Sea. The new Wm Malcolm Price led his new team exceptionally well with good grace and humour.

The two new members, Paul and Simon both said they thoroughly enjoyed their evening and despite having to wait nearly a year to join, it was well worth it.

The ritual was as good as ever by the whole team but special mentions must go to Warren Beavis for delivering the Working Tools with only 10 minutes notice and Ian Chedzey who gave a word perfect rendition of the Charge, without a single prompt!

Both Paul and Simon were excellent candidates, having approached the Province via the Digital Marketing Campaign last year.

With over 45 in attendance it was another great event at Burnham, rounded off with a superb meal cooked by John Chinn, who also doubles up as the Charity Steward!
