Brother where art thou

This past Thursday we held our installation meeting of Showmens guild lodge 9089, in what was a full house. All there to see the  new Worshipful master installed, It should be noted to the outgoing WM Wbro Roger O’Connor Jr, who kindly offered the gavel to Wbro Nathan Henderson to install his older brother Wbro Jonathan into the chair of king Solomon, in what for them was the first time ether had done so without there father Wbro Colin Henderson present, but I am sure he was watching down from the grand lodge above with great pride. Wbro Jonathan was presented to the installing master by there uncle Wbro Lyn Wheadon a past master of Wessex lodge in Weston who along with a numerous retinue of Wessex brethren went to see there WM installed into yet another chair. The support on evening was on show for all to see, showcasing the best of freemasonry and due to some last minute sickness and absence many visiting brethren stood in to ensure the meeting when ahead. 

The lodge has a great youthful center and all the progressive officers wear the light blue which is a first for many years. The new JD bro Jack Richards stole the show with a perfect rendition of the second degree tools and his infectious smile was on show for the whole evening. 

The festive board was fun and vibrant with W.Bro Daniel Dean master of Chelsea Lodge doing a superb funny and heart warming response to the visitors toast. With W.Bro Nathan capping if off with his rendition of the master song.
