Busy Night at Wellington Chapter
The Chapter of Fidelity and Sincerity recently Exalted another candidate, Lee Kimber, Master of 1966 Craft Lodge. Duncan Sully-Dunbar, MEZ, assisted by Alan Clayton, H, and Simon Gamlin, J, performed an excellent ceremony assisted by their officers. Once again, the Savage ritual was in use and all flowed very well.

Other items took place including the adoption of the Accounts and later a Notice of Motion to increase the subs due in principle to the increases in capitation costs, 33%, and the increase in Grand and Provincial Chapter fees. Two new Exaltees were proposed and it is intended to carry out a double Exaltation, the first ever at Wellington, at our next convocation on Tuesday 22nd April (Day after Easter). Peter Chidzey presenting “The Broken Column” to MEZ, Duncan
On the Fourth Rising E Comp Peter Chidzey donated a charity box “The Broken Column” to the Chapter. Peter explained that his own Chapter, Hand to Hand, No 7044, meeting in Croydon, has surrendered its warrant, and somehow he had been given “The Broken Column” and wished for us to use it.

The new and old Treasurer, Chris and Adrian.
