The Membership Challenge Continues

One year on from the first Membership Challenge presentation by the Grand Superintendent, Ray Guthrie, he visited again to review the progress made and ongoing challenges facing Royal Cumberland Chapter.

The dilemma being, how to balance the need for modernisation, without losing the unique character that defines them.

With traditional ritual and customs much valued by their members, they do however realise that change is inevitable if they want to grow and survive.

Ray led a lively discussion encouraging an introspective analysis of the current status quo and helped to identify the steps needed to achieve success.

They have already adopted a more inclusive approach to the delivery of ritual and are committed to taking whatever additional action is needed.
