The Provincial Grand Chapter Ball on February 7th and 8th was another resounding success

A big thank you to the many Companions from Somerset and neighbouring Provinces for making the Annual Weekend the re-sounding success the gallery of photos show it to have been.
The 25th Anniversary of the event was superbly organised by E Comp David and Jo Parslow with every attention to making it a fun and enjoyable weekend.
The Friday evening saw the Provincial Executive and invited guests rightly honour E Comp Denis Calderley, who had the foresight in organising the very first Provincial Weekend, the mantle being enthusiastically taken up E Comp John and Jenny Bennett and latterly by E Comp Barry and Peggy Woodside and our current MEGS E Comp Ray and Hazel Guthrie.
Sadly Hazel was not mobile enough to attend and we look forward to next year with Ray and Hazel being back at the helm.
The Deputy Grand Superintendent and 2nd Provincial Grand Principal were delighted with so many positive comments when visiting the tables, many with the same theme that the food and company had been excellent.
If you have never attended the Weekend please consider doing so you will have a great time and make new friends , next year it will be Friday 6th – Sunday 8th February at the Durrant House. Hotel, Bideford, and remember the weekend is open to everybody not just Royal Arch Companions.
