Somerset Freemasons Cross the Border and Visit St Patricks Lodge

A goodly number of Somerset Freemasons travelled to Warminster to witness the initiation of Sgt Gavin Spencer of the Royal Dragoon Guards. The Lodge falls under the Irish Constitution and the guests were treated to an exemplary ceremony. The Worshipful Master Dan Watters and his team performed an exceptional ceremony which was explained in more detail by the Secretary John Torley. This is a military lodge and was originally warranted in 1758 under the 1st (Irish) Horse and now designated the Royal Dragoon Guards. The attendees were treated to a sumptuous meal after, where the banter flowed as is the case in military lodges.
