Initiation and subterfuge at Tynte Lodge

On Thursday 16th March Tynte Lodge initiated Paul Knight, a good friend of Nigel Manfield of Wyvern Lodge in Wiltshire, who attended Tynte as a nice surprise to Paul. They had to “smuggle” Nigel into the building through a different entrance, and kept him well hidden, until he surprised Paul with the North East Corner Address.

Nigel said they had spoken many years ago about Paul becoming a Mason, but the time wasn’t right. Now Paul lives in Bridgwater, he contacted me again about joining and Nigel suggested he approach a local Lodge ion Bridgwater, so he could attained more often.

Nigel thanked the members of Tynte for allowing to be part of this very special occasion.
