Knights Templar School Branch Out In Watchet
Knights Templar School in Watchet wanted to do something special to mark the long reign and life of Queen Elizabeth ll. The Chair of Governors Mrs Bulpin had the great idea of planting some trees. She asked Roger Biss of Quantock Lodge of Freemasons if he could help. He in turn enlisted the support of fellow Quantock Freemason Sam Sheasby, who runs a Tree Surgery company and who kindly supplied the trees. The trees are a variety called Jubilee plums, which makes them extra special. Mr Frowde and Mrs Weaver took four helpers from reception to help plant the trees, Finley, Annie, Margot and Stanley. In time, the trees will grow and the Lodge intends to put some benches under them for the children to sit and have a quiet place when they are out on the field.

A Somerset Provincial Plaque was placed at the site as testimony to another successful community supported project.
