Prudence and Industry No. 1953 Make two donations to worthy charities.

It has been quite a couple of weeks in Chard, as John Nicholls presented two impressively large cheques of £1,876.04 to share the money with two deserving causes, The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and St Margarets Hospice. The money was raised during his three years in the Chair due to Covid. He raised the money by way of raffles, a skittles evening, ladies night etc.

A huge effort was also made by Johns wife, Jackie, who ran a number of flower-inspired workshops and raised a lot of money – what a star!
