Keith Norman takes charge of Old Aluredians.

Keith Norman was recently installed as Worshipful Master of Old Aluredian Lodge No.7724, Taunton, in a ceremony attended by Assistant Provincial Grand Master Richard Winter and numerous other Provincial Officers.  What is probably more surprising (for those that don’t know Keith) is that he has been a mason for some 39 years, has held various Provincial ranks and been the SW Area Mentor, but has not previously been ‘through the Chair’ as Master of a Craft Lodge….until now.

Proposed into Quantock Lodge 4446, Watchet in 1983 by his father, Keith has taken an active part in all aspects of craft ritual and supported the development of younger craft masons. He was appointed Past Provincial Grand Standard Bearer in 2010 and held the SW Area Mentor role from 2012 to 2021. He was promoted to Past Provincial Grand Superintendent of Works in 2017 and joined Old Aluredian in 2018 but his installation was delayed by the pandemic shutdown; he was eventually installed as the Master in Sept 2022.  Keith also keeps himself busy as a member of Rose Croix Chapter 784, Exmoor Mark Lodge 697 and Exmoor Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners.

Congratulations Keith and enjoy your year as Master of 7724!
