Alfred and Guthrum Initiates the PSGW

Recently Martin Slocombe, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, and Keith Baker, the Provincial Senior Grand Warden were invited as guests to Alfred and Guthrum Lodge.

They were conducting a demonstation of the First Degree Ceremony but were without a Candidate. Keith was asked if he would kindly take this role and immediatley volunteered.

As you might imagine, he has not worn an Entered Apprentice Apron for some 30 years, and really enjoyed the experience, despite the rapid demotion.

The Ceremony was conducted in fine form and we everyone had a very enjoyable evening followed by an excellent Festive Board.
