W Bro John Wenborn Installed according to ancient and Covid custom

Congratulations to Worshipful (a title that never gets boring) Bro John Wenborn, who was installed in the chair of Priory Lodge No 6913 in fantastic style on Friday10th December 2021, by his good friend W Bro Richard Dredge.

Everyone enjoyed seeing the lodge room very full (three brethren who arrived a little seemed likely to need to stand), where the atmosphere was warm and very friendly, something which carried on to the festive board where 61 sat down to dine.

VW Deputy Provincial Grand Master shared words of praise and overall what a wonderful evening, and said “What a super evening and festive board so obviously enjoyed by all in attendance.  It was a pleasure to see how many attended and to witness an excellently delivered ceremony. “

Rich Dredge did a really excellent job of installing his friend in to the chair, and he was ably assisted by the DC, Ray Guthrie, and three brethren who presented the working tools in a near perfect way. It looked to everyone like Priory Lodge is looking forward to a full and enjoyable year under the leadership of their new worshipful master.

Not only was the meeting so well attended and conducted, but it upheld all Covid guidelines, whereby everyone wore masks in the temple and while at the bar downstairs. Thank you Brethren for your staunch support.
