Wraxall Lodge’s 5th Ashlar

Wraxall Lodge in Nailsea has finally joined the increasing band of Lodges who have achieved their Festival target and received their 5th Ashlar.  February 7th saw W Bro Martin C Slocombe PJGD Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Somerset visit Wraxall Lodge to witness an excellent 2nd degree ceremony in which Bro Chris McCormack was passed to the rank of Fellow craft. After his successful advancement W Bro Martin Slocombe presented the 5th Ashlar to W Bro Bernard Sims, the Lodges Charity Steward. W Bro Bernard has been the charity Steward since the launch of the 2020 Festival back in 2010 and has worked tirelessly to encourage the brethren of Wraxall to raise and achieve the full amount thereby receiving its 5th Ashlar. Everyone agreed that W Bro Bernard deserved the fine complimentary words that W Bro Slocombe said in his presentation.
