Open To The Skies Concert – Sunday 24th July 2022 – CANCELLED
UPDATE: Unfortunately the war in Ukraine has caused the organizers to make a very tough decision to cancel this event. For more information, please see the Province of Wiltshire website http://www.opentotheskies.co.uk
Our neighbouring province of Wiltshie, is hosting a very special concert on Sunday 24th July 2022.
The event is being held in the grounds of Bowood House & Gardens, Calne, by kind permission of the Marquis of Lansdowne. The event is supported by a number of Patrons including the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, and Lady Lansdowne.
The concert is headlined by the superb Central Band Of The Royal Air Force, who will feature their very own singers, the RAF Squadronaires, and promises to be a musical extravaganza. The band will also be joined by a nationally renowned Swindon choir – The Wessex, and Wiltshire soprano Matilda Wale. It really will be an extra special event.
Flypasts from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, a display by the RAF Falcons parachute team, and a superb firework display will only serve to make this an event not to be missed.
Include among the charities being supported by this event are three well known to Somerset Freemasons.
- Julia’s House
- Wiltshire Air Ambulance
- Teddies For Loving Care
All Somerset Freemasons, their families, and friends are most welcome to support this event.
