St Georges Lunch at Clevedon Hub

On Sunday 24th April 47 Brethren,wives,partners and friends attended the Masonic Hub at Clevedon M.H. to enjoy a superb lunch served by Zena & Neil and all of the staff.

At these events we do not usually have a raffle but Neil wished to raise some money on this occasion for a local charity Weston super Mare Rheumatoid group and for PMR/GCA which is Polymyalgea Rheumatica Charity.

Ray Beckingham explained the objects of both Charities and a superb sum of £350 was raised from the raffle and a donation from Zena and Neil this being part of the cost of the meal and another donation from the M.H.

The Charities were very pleased with their respective donations, with the Weston Branch the money is going towards purchasing floats for use in the Hydro Pool, the PMR money will help with support for people with P.M.R.
