After last year’s moratorium Mike Froom of Prudence and Industry Lodge, Chard, organised a lunch for members, veterans, and widows at Hornsbury Mill near Chard on Wednesday 28th July. There were 20 present, and a thoroughly good time was had by all.
Everyone agreed that it was very nice to get together with old friends. One or two were slightly nervous after social distancing, but the relaxation was palpable as soon as the greetings and chatter started, something that is evident in the photographs below. The general atmosphere was one of relief that “normality” had in some semblance returned.
